Dreamtime.

This embroidery, triptich ‘Dreamtime’ did not originate from a planned idea, nor does it have a direct personal background.
The images arose as they appeared ‘under the needle’. Only the circularity of iconic images, fish rising, angels descending, a flooding of worlds,
in sunshine and darkness, the snakes separating them and a deer just calling to the alert deer in the twilight under a black sun .

Completed 1990 – size: closed : 38 / 38 cm. open: 77 / 38 cm. Wood, cotton, DMC mouline embroidery silk thread on Linen, sequins and beads.
