Sword belt decorations

Rob and Erich Völke Certificate gift

Because of their 40 years of volunteering for the Dutch and international Tai Chi Chuan community
Rob and Erich Völke received this gift in addition to their certificate.

The sword belt decorations are different in design for each brother.  The Völke brothers forged their own swords.
The engravings, handles and pommels have got images falcon and dragon.
In particular, these embroideries are inspired by these images.

The flying dragon is the important image in Erichs sword fighting style.
His sword charter has dragon shapes and now so does the sword belt now.

The Tai-ji-tu, eleventh century Chinese diagram of the supreme ultimate.
Above that the constellation Ulsar Major: an important postures in the tai chi chuan sword form: ‘literary star’. This Ulsar Major constellation is also engraved on Rob Volke’s taichi-sword blade.
