Musing :  Dream

This dream performance depicts many mysterious themes; in a dream anything seems possible…. At the centre, a girl is attentively reading a fairy tale about the white snake leaf. The background around her is heavely detailed thread by thread. Her sleepwalking image, beside the pollard willow, stares at the moon. There a stingray floats through the atmosphere, perhaps through water, but it could also be the sky.
Left and right there are traditional embroidery patterns from the 19th century of vases with flowers and white swans.
On the edge of the image, a scandinavian floral pattern.
