NEEDLE WORKS : EMBROIDERY
Ceciel Kroes is an autonomous multifaceted artist, practicing in various fields of the arts.
She initially studied graphics: printing, etching and lithography at the Kunstacademie Constantijn Huygens in Kampen.
Moving to Amsterdam she focused on classical music, in particular voice, in which she has performed as a singer
as well as giving classes as a vocal teacher.
Ceciel has reached a high level in the practice of tai chi chuan, and for many years has a regular following of pupils who attend her classes.
Throughout her life she has been involved in creating, in particular needle works.
This website is dedicated to just viewing her art, mainly embroidery from 2014.
Other work, such as paintings and drawings will be added to the website at a later date, in ‘ARCHIVE’.
